Some Frequently Asked Questions about Support.

- What if I can’t commit to regular monthly giving, can I give a special gift?
- Absolutely. You can give a special gift, or give as you can. Some people prefer to write one check annually, or quarterly and the mission board can break it up monthly.
- Will I get a tax deductible receipt?
- Yes, when you send a financial gift, the mission board sends them a receipt, and a self-addressed envelope for your convenience, if you choose to send a donation again.
- What percentage does the mission board take out? How much of my gift actually goes to the missionary?
- The mission board takes out 10% for Service Allocation/Overhead, which includes administrative costs, communication, field conferences and training. The staff at the home office also raise their own support, including the president of the mission and those in charge of recruiting and mobilization.
- What is the difference between a One-Time Gift and a Special Gift to a missionary?
- There is no difference. Sometimes regular donors send a special gift, like at Christmas, etc. above their regular pledged amount. If you designate a “special gift” such at Christmas, 100 percent of that gift goes to the missionary, but the donor does not receive a tax deductible receipt.
- Does the mission board offer automatic monthly deductions?
- Yes, they do. You can simply fill out a form, and designate the amount and it will be automatically deducted from a checking or savings account, to make giving more convenient. If you choose to send a check, the mission sends you a receipt and an envelope for your next donation.
- Are there other ways we can support the Ozannes and their ministry besides financial?
- Yes there are lots of ways people can be a part of our Support team. You can support us in prayer, through missionary care, such as a small group or community group helping with newsletters, sending care packages, worship CD’s and sermons and even coming on short term trips.
We are not out to get people’s wallets, but their hearts for the world as God sees it.
“I thank my God every time I remember you, in my prayers, for your partnership in the Gospel, from the first day until now.”
