Polish in Four Months (yeah, OK)

To try, to imagine, to speak with Polish, in all infinitive verb tense, and all for wrong preposition because a preposition - on example-”on the Post office” is of course “at the post office” by English and we to translate what we to think in English into Polish, and then also be sure to mix up use an wrong pronoun, like “him”, when you really to mean to say “me”, or “her”, and then, of course, we to look at me strangely, because it do not to have sense.
If this to make you tired, then they have an small idea of why to try to speak on foreign language to make us very to be tired, and why it to take so big time to do some things on example like to buy “Baby wipes” when she not know right word for “wet”, but only “napkins” and you to must to explain her that they are different than regular napkins, what they have, but no what I to need, and she to think I just to want different wet napkins. And then, with some gestures, at end, shop lady understand what I to mean, but she to tell me- “I understand, but we no to have”.
In addition to this, you can’t drink the water, because it is full of heavy metals so you buy bottled water to drink and cook, and then make three trips to the market or store per week, because the fridge is small and the food doesn’t have so many preservatives, and milk is only sold in 1 & 2 liter bottles. Most Europeans go to the market or small shops every day.
Last month, we got a car (June 07) but for eight months we used public transport, which meant 1 hour each way, two buses, and then walking. Having a car saves time, money and gives us much more independence.
Welcome to reality in Poland. God is so faithful, and we are adjusted. The people are so warm and gracious, and we have fantastic neighbors, and three families have small children, which is great for Clay. The weather is nice now, and there are two parks within walking distance.
To Pray for we, that we could to have God’s help to understand, and to thank God that Polish is not language of world.
