About
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 (New International Version)
Fellowship Church believes strongly in responding deeply to the call of Jesus to go into all the world and make disciples. Our response to his call is reflected in the fact that twenty percent of our church’s annual budget is devoted to local outreach and global missions.
This part of our website will give you some background on missions at FEFC. After you’ve learned more about how we do missions, you, your family, your small group, your community group, or your ministry area can begin to pray, asking God what part He would have you play in fulfilling FEFC’s missions vision and strategy for 2006 and beyond.
I, as FEFC Missions & Outreach Pastor, understand that although Missions is a vital part of who we are as a church, it is just one part. God’s call to you and your season of life will determine how much God would have you pour into Missions at FEFC. Whatever part God calls you to play in missions, it will be important, and it will be an honor for you to have been called, whether you set foot on foreign soil or not.
As you learn more about Missions at FEFC, and become more engaged with us in our missions journey, I encourage you to consider prayerfully the part God would have you play that not only forwards the cause of Missions at FEFC, but that also honors the other very important things God has entrusted to your care. Then God will take what we give, and multiply it so it is more than enough!
John Winters,
Missions and Outreach Pastor, FEFC
